Your Right to Data Deletion

At SaasMessages, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your data at any time. This page explains how to submit a data deletion request and what happens when you do.

What Data We Store

When you use SaasMessages, we may store the following data:

  • Account information (name, email, password hash)
  • Business information (company name, address)
  • WhatsApp Business Account connection details
  • Contact lists and phone numbers you upload
  • Message templates you create
  • Message history and delivery status
  • Usage analytics and logs

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

Option 1: Through Your Dashboard

If you have an active account, you can delete your data directly:

  1. Log in to your SaasMessages account
  2. Go to Settings → Account
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your deletion request

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to our privacy team with the following information:

  • Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Your registered email address
  • Your business name (if applicable)
  • Any specific data you want deleted

Option 3: Facebook/Meta Data Deletion

If you connected your WhatsApp Business Account through Facebook Login, you can also request data deletion through Facebook:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings
  2. Navigate to "Apps and Websites"
  3. Find SaasMessages and remove the app
  4. We will automatically receive and process your deletion request

What Happens After Your Request

Confirmation

We will send you an email confirming receipt of your request within 24 hours.

Verification

We may contact you to verify your identity to protect against unauthorized deletion requests.

Processing

Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of verification.

Completion

You will receive a final confirmation email once all your data has been deleted.

Data We May Retain

In certain cases, we may be required to retain some data even after a deletion request:

  • Legal obligations: Data required for tax, legal, or regulatory compliance
  • Fraud prevention: Records needed to prevent fraud or abuse
  • Dispute resolution: Data related to ongoing disputes or claims
  • Anonymized data: Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you

Any retained data will be securely stored and only used for these specific purposes.

Third-Party Data

When you delete your data from SaasMessages, please note:

  • Messages already sent through WhatsApp cannot be recalled from recipients
  • Data stored by Meta/WhatsApp is subject to their own data policies
  • You may need to separately request deletion from connected third-party services
